Tip 3.
Keep you deposits -get your numbers correct
Working out the number of guests that will attend your Christmas party can be a difficult task for any Christmas party organiser. If you decrease your numbers after booking a party you will lose your deposit. So here's some useful suggestions to help you not lose your deposits.
1. Make bespoke invitations to get your guests excited and list the full content; Christmas menu, itineraries and exciting aspects of your chosen Christmas event. This should ensure that you and your guests are keen not to miss out on a party to remember.
2. Get your Christmas party budget sorted early. With the Christmas budget in hand and a full understanding of possibilities you can open up some great Christmas party options.
3. Suggest that guests who say they are going to attend pay a non-refundable deposit. This way if they pull out you are not left with the bill.
4. Ask the venue how many guests their tables sit. The majority of larger Christmas parties will seat 12 guests to a table. This can be used to your advantage. For example: if you were to book 40 guests over 4 tables you will be able to increase your party guest numbers by 8 without complaint – even a few weeks before the event.
5. Making sure your Christmas party numbers are right will ensure that your budget goes as far as it can.
